
I am a registered psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia. I work with adults and adolescents utilizing a variety of approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Mindfulness and relaxation techniques. I am committed to working with each individual’s needs and goals using a warm, non-judgemental and person-centered approach.

Melas Khole
B Psychology (Applied)
Melas works with Depression, Anxiety, Attachment and relationship difficulties, Psychological trauma and has some experience working with Eating Disorders and Body Dysmorphia.
Melas has recently commenced assessment for Autism in adults and clinical screening for ADHD. There will be a waiting period for assessment due to demand for this service.
Melas uses a variety of psychological approaches including cognitive behavioural, emotion focussed, emotional regulation and mindfulness, Brain spotting, Psychodrama, Behavioural Activation and Acceptance.
Melas focusses on creating an emotionally safe environment with a mix of empathy and humour and is guided by each client in working out ‘what works’ for the individual.
Melas believes in social justice for all. He is LBGTQI+ friendly and has some experience working with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Melas recognises that though psychology often focusses on individual change, social change is equally important. To create healthy individuals a healthy society is necessary.
Melas recognizes he works on un-ceded Aboriginal lands.
